Vía (Oral): Se absorbe bién a través del tracto gastrointestinal. Tarda 1 semana en aparecer la acción, con algunas variaciones interindividuales, después de interrumpido el tratamiento. Es metabolizado en el hígado, siendo eliminado mayoritariamente con las heces y en una pequeña cantidad con la orina. Sufre recirculación entererohepática.
Su semivida de eliminación es de 5 días.

- infertilidad femenina por fallo en la ovulación.
- infertilidad masculina.

The active ingredient is the Clomifeno.
Action:
Sexual hormone not esteroídic (derivative estilbénico) with activity antiestrogénic partial, since there prevents the union of the physiological oestrogens only to level hipofisario, blocking the process of inhibitory feedback. This way, the secretion increases of gonadorelina and, with it,  of gonadotropinas (LH and FSH), with the consequent stimulation ováric and increase of the production of oestrogens, which facilitates the induction of the ovulation.
