DIBENYLINE Capsules

COMPOSITION:
Each "Dibenyline' capsula contains 10 mg of phenoxybenzamine hydrochloride.

PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A.5.2 adrenolytic (Sympaticoliticos)

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
'Dibenyline' (phenoxybenzamine hydrochloride) is an alpha-blocker, long-acting androgen receptors. Increases blood flow to the skin, mucosa and abdominal viscera, under certain conditions and lowers both supine and erect blood pressure. The effect of "Dibenyline lasts for a week, depending on the dose used. The serum half-life is 24 hours.
It causes an irreversible blockade of alpha receptors. A single dose can cause high fenoxibenzomina blocking alpha receptors for 3 or more days.

DIRECTIONS:
It is indicated for the treatment of episodes of hypertension associated with pheochromocytoma.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Pregnancy
Conditions where a fall in blood pressure may be undesirable, such as strokes and the recovery period after myocardial infarction.
