Who uses Devrom ®?
People who need to neutralize the odor resulting from fecal incontinence, colostomies, ileostomies, the irritable bowel syndrome and bariatric surgery.

How does Devrom ®?
Historically subgallate bismuth (DEVROM ®) has been used to relieve gastrointestinal disorders. DEVROM ® may act in one of two ways - by reducing the number of odor producing anaerobic intestinal microbes and direct interaction with compounds containing sulfur. DEVROM ® works to reduce the odor of gas not the gas itself. The user still has gas.

How should you take Devrom?
Adults and children 12 years of age and older: The oral dose is 200 mg to 400 mg to 4 times a day. Children under 12 years of age: Consult a doctor.

Side Effects
Temporary side effects include darkening of the stool and tongue, which is harmless and temporary.
